Last year I took oil class and I’ve always admired John William Waterhouse’s paintings and also had the chance to work a little more with some character designs I had in mind for the last 2 years. This is kind of a tribute to him I guess.
And I have some awesome news too! I recently created a Facebook page! I’ll be uploading stuff from there. So I want to thank you for your kind comments and visits over the last 3 years. YAAAAY! I’m very excited to hear from you. Like and tell your friends!
You can find my FB page HERE 🙂
I loved Mira.
Happy 2017!
My last post of the year: Mumei from “Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress”. This one goes to my Bento box: Here’s your Kawaii Christmas card, senpai!
This has been a magical year. I’m grateful for all the awesome things that came out of it, especially the adventures, friendships and the love. I went through a lot of stress and anxiety, but also had the opportunity to learn, draw and read a bit more. I enjoyed reading C.S. Lewis and now I couldn’t agree more with him: “Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: What! You too?”. Also, it’s incredible how pain can be somehow managed, or at least we can attain a better understanding of it. Really loved “The Problem of Pain”.
Ho ho hope next year is even better, yay! :3
For those who don’t know, I’m mexican. And I really love Día de muertos is a very colorful and special day of remembering our loved ones and honor those who have gone before us. I wanted in some way, commemorate some of the magic that Mexico has. I always loved Diego Rivera’s Flower Carriers and the beautiful work of Saturnino Herrán, especially “La Ofrenda” that is by far one of my favorite.
Here’s my flower girl, another OC! I thought her colors and little flowers would work just fine for this illustration. This is not her original clothing. As the seasons change over time, her little flowers do as well.
I want some chocolate Abuelita and PAN DE MUERTO! >u<
This is Taro my OC.
I’m not happy with this one. I’ll give it another try.
Today is the birthday of Dani and I just wanted to draw a little illustration for her. She’s one of the sweetest, fun and good hearted people I have the pleasure of knowing.
I hope you have a very special day, full of dorayakis, shibes and happiness. Keep doing magical things! I admire her very much and I’m thankful for this friendship. Happy birthday Dani! 😀
Here she’s with some of my OC’s. Mochi the Shiba Inu and Udon, a bakeneko.
